Yes, Core Therapy Psychology Services is an approved provider for services under NDIS, we can support developing plans and process a plan for specific service requirements. Therapy plans can include Psychology, Child-Centred Play Therapy and Social groups may also be funded.

Helping Children with Autism and Better Start Initiative

We are approved Early Intervention Panel Members and registered providers of services through the Australian Government FAHCSIA funding schemes for Helping Children with Autism and Better Start initiatives.

Medicare

Additional rebates may be available for Psychology and Child-Centred Play Therapy services under Medicare. Depending on the complexity and/or diagnosis a GP may be able to activate the following plans:

Private Health Care

We are registered with most major health funds to allow for some of our fees to be claimed back through your private health insurance depending on your level of cover. We recommend you contact your fund to discuss your individual situation.

Please ensure you bring your Medicare card and debit card to each session.

 

* Group Therapy (min 2 people) Traning Workshops and training consultation fee’s vary and will be discussed prior to attendance at workshops/group therapy.

 

Consideration will be given to bulk bill clients and can be discussed on an individual basis.

 

It is expected that all fees will be paid on the day of attendance. We accept cash and EFTPOS and with Medicare Eziclaim, your Medicare refund is deposited directly into your account on the day.

 

All accounts not settled on the day will incur an account keeping fee of $15.

 

If accounts are outstanding beyond seven days, no further appointments will be offered in the practice, until outstanding accounts are cleared.

 

Please note cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) and failure to attend scheduled appointments attract a client charge.

Cancellation Policy

 

Our cancellation policy is important to know, because it will keep your costs down.

In order for us to be able to fill the appointment time please allow us 48 hours notice of a cancellation. If you cancel between 24-48 hours before your appointment you will incur a charge of $50.00.

 

If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, or if you fail to attend your appointment, you will be charged the full fee ($169) for your missed appointment. These fees will still be charged to clients who are healthcare card holders or ATAPS clients.

 

A reminder text will be sent prior to the scheduled appointment time; however this is done as a courtesy. Please note that you are responsible for attending appointments, even when a reminder has not been sent.

 

We do understand that sometimes exceptional circumstances do occur and in some cases the fee may be waived; please discuss this with service staff.
