Aimee believes that everyone has the innate capacity to grow and change, and she works with people to help them better understand and work through what holds them back. Therapy can help to increase awareness of thoughts, behaviour and emotions and how they have been influenced by past and present experiences. This heightened awareness allows for greater choice and flexibility, enabling people to work through difficulties and increase their capacity for enhanced well-being, fulfilling relationships and lives rich with personal meaning.

Aimee draws from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor therapy to each individual. These include family therapy, schema therapy, narrative therapy, art and play therapy, psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and process-oriented therapy. Her work is also informed by an appreciation of the value of meditation and mindfulness. She strives for authenticity and connection with her clients, and she is very passionate about working towards holistic, lasting change.

A referral from a GP is not required, however clients who obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from their GP are eligible for the full Medicare rebate of $124.50 per session for 6-10 sessions. Health fund rebates also apply.

Aimee is fully registered with the Psychologists Board of WA (AHPRA) and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).
